Carioca Breezy — sustainable community café blending Azorean soul and Brazilian warmth in the Azores.
Fresh, local ingredients at Carioca Breezy—fruits, regional honey, and seasonal produce from the Azores.

Extraordinary Ingredients, Grown with Time and Care

At Carioca Breezy, what you taste tells a story—of volcanic soil, island sun, and generations of slow-growing tradition. Our ingredients come mostly from the local farmers’ market or the traveling veggie truck that visits Sete Cidades door to door. We proudly serve tea from Porto Formoso, one of the only European plantations of its kind. Our pineapples, grown in greenhouses using century-old techniques, take nearly two years to ripen. You’ll also find rich Azorean cheeses, Brazilian açaí from Amazon, and tropical ingredients from both sides of the Atlantic.

Every ingredient is chosen with intention—seasonal, local, and often one-of-a-kind—because we believe the quality of what you eat should reflect the richness of where you are.

Fresh Fruits

Fresh fruits we serve come straight from João Pedro who continues his father’s legacy, supplying the village from his truck while also running a small grocery and working his fields.
