Carioca Breezy is a community-based initiative, a vibrant garden lounge café nestled in our home at the heart of Sete Cidades, blending the laid-back spirit of Rio’s beach culture with the natural charm and abundance of the Azores. More than just a café, it’s a place for renewal—serving handcrafted açaí bowls with an Azorean twist and refreshing iced teas made from São Miguel’s native herbs. Created and and built with our own hands using repurposed materials, Carioca Breezy offers a relaxed, eco-conscious space where travelers and residents can pause, recharge, and reconnect with the moment. Whether you’re sipping tea beneath the crater’s sky, journaling in a quiet corner, or simply enjoying the breeze to the sound of a curated Brazilian-Azorean playlist, this is a place where time slows down and island life truly begins.
