AstroVan Artist Residency

AstroVan is a converted and unique stationary vintage van parked in our peaceful backyard. An inspirational creative space dedicated to artists and creatives within the volcanic crater of Sete Cidades.

Quietly born from the hands of local residents and rooted in the slow rhythms of island life, it unfolds through a trio of humble offerings: a vintage van turned artist’s retreat, a tropical garden café infused with Azorean-Brazilian warmth, and a quiet lens capturing stories for those too present to hold a camera.

Awaken Azores is a rural, unhurried gesture of hospitality—an invitation to walk on volcanic soil, share a fresh meal around the fire pit, create in response to landscapes carved by wind and time, and remember that here, the pace of life, like nature, moves in circles, not lines.
